We had an issue with the grout in the shower. Huge chips out of it and it was just old in general. Also the shower leaked every time we used it. I contacted Ryan and he was professional, on time and delivered a high quality or work. Even coming back the next week to fix an unexpected issue (big gaps between the floor and wall). The before and after pics show the difference. We are very happy so far.Posted on Google![]()

Highy recommended Indie from Aus Floor Care. I had a marble bench top refurbished. It had etch marks and had been epoxy impacted in its early life. He took extra care to remove epoxy layer and then bring life back to the marble. Good communication and cleaned up and very politePosted on Google![]()

Incredible Restoration – Saved My Bluestone! After having bluestone crazy paving laid, I had a nightmare experience with a previous tradesman who applied a dark-tinted sealer and then unsuccessfully tried to grind it out. The stone looked ruined. I called Ausfloor Care, and Indie was fantastic. He explained exactly what needed to happen to fix the damage. He managed to restore the bluestone to its beautiful natural color and applied a natural-look sealer that truly highlights the stone. We absolutely love the finished result. If it wasn’t for Indie and his team, I would have given up and tiled over the entire area. Highly recommended!Posted on Google![]()

Indie and his team are absolutely 5 star!! Indie repaired the cracks in our terrazzo kitchen floor and has honed and polished it to a beautiful finish. The team were extremely professional, polite and friendly and went above and beyond with helping move furniture. They arrived on time and worked so hard to finish the job on time. I cannot recommend Indie highly enough. I will certainly be using him again when we need any stone maintenance in the future.Posted on Google![]()

Picture this.
You just spent a fortune renovating your dream Melbourne kitchen. You picked out the exact piece of Italian Calacatta marble you wanted. The veining is pure art. Every time you walk into the room, it looks like a 6-star luxury hotel in South Yarra.
Then, Saturday night happens.
You’re hosting dinner. Guests are over. The wine is flowing. Someone cuts a lemon for a gin and tonic, leaves the squeeze on the benchtop for three minutes… or spills a few drops of Pinot Noir.
The next morning, you walk into the kitchen, brush off the crumbs, and stop dead in your tracks.
There it is.
A dull, ghostly, chalky ring right in the center of your island benchtop.
You grab a sponge. You scrub. You spray your everyday supermarket cleaner. Nothing happens. You scrub harder. Now the spot looks even wider and cloudier.
Panic sets in. Your heart sinks. Your massive investment looks tarnished, second-hand, and ruined.
Welcome to the Marble Etch Trap—the #1 nightmare haunting luxury homeowners across Toorak, Brighton, and Kew.

The Dirty Secret the Builder Didn’t Tell You About Natural Stone
Here is the brutal truth most kitchen renovators skip when they hand over your keys:
Marble is not just stone. It is calcium carbonate—and acid eats it alive.
When anything acidic touches your unsealed or worn marble—whether it’s lemon juice, wine, coffee, tomato sauce, or even basic vinegar—a chemical reaction happens instantly.
It doesn’t just “stain” the surface. It literally dissolves the top layer of the stone.
That dull spot you are staring at isn’t dirt. It’s a physical chemical burn on your benchtop.
And here is where most people make a catastrophic mistake…

The 3 Mistakes That Turn a Minor Etch into a Total Disaster
Scrubbing with abrasive pads: Grabbing a Scotch-Brite sponge acts like sandpaper. You’re scratching off the remaining factory polish and spreading the damage.
Using standard kitchen sprays: 95% of supermarket cleaners contain lemon extracts, bleach, or harsh chemicals that strip remaining sealant and etch the stone further.
Attempting DIY polishing kits: Store-bought polishing pastes usually leave uneven, blotchy patches that look even worse under kitchen lighting.

The Solution: Diamond-Grade Marble Restoration
You do not need to rip out your benchtop. And you do not have to live with looking at that infuriating mark every time you brew your morning coffee.
At Aus Floor Care, we don’t just “clean” stone. We reverse chemical damage at a molecular level.
Using German-engineered diamond abrasive technology and specialized honing equipment, our certified stone technicians systematically remove the damaged micron layer of your marble—without compromising its structural integrity.
Why Melbourne Homeowners Trust Aus Floor Care:
Zero Dust Technology: Our wet-diamond honing process keeps your home completely clean during the entire restoration.
Factory-Level Polish: We match the exact original finish of your benchtop—from satin honed to ultra-high gloss.
Maximum Barrier Sealing: We apply penetrating deep-bond sealers engineered specifically for Melbourne’s high-use residential kitchens.
Stop Staring at That Damaged Benchtop. Get It Fixed Today.
Your kitchen is the heart of your home. Don’t let etched, cloudy stone ruin the feeling of luxury you worked so hard to build.
Whether you’re dealing with stubborn etching, deep stains, or hairline chips in your marble, granite, or engineered stone—we bring it back to day-one perfection.
