Also the shower leaked every time we used it. I contacted Ryan and he was professional, on time and delivered a high quality or work. Even coming back the next week to fix an unexpected issue (big gaps between the floor and wall). The before and after pics show the difference. We are very happy so far.

It had etch marks and had been epoxy impacted in its early life. He took extra care to remove epoxy layer and then bring life back to the marble. After having bluestone crazy paving laid, I had a nightmare experience with a previous tradesman who applied a dark-tinted sealer and then unsuccessfully tried to grind it out. The stone looked ruined.
I called Ausfloor Care, and Indie was fantastic. He explained exactly what needed to happen to fix the damage. He managed to restore the bluestone to its beautiful natural color and applied a natural-look sealer that truly highlights the stone. We absolutely love the finished result. If it wasn’t for Indie and his team, I would have given up and tiled over the entire area. Highly recommended!

How long does strip and seal take?

An average-sized room takes 4–6 hours including drying time. Floors with heavy sealer build-up or larger commercial areas take longer. We provide an accurate timeframe after our free assessment.

How often should floors be stripped and resealed?

Commercial floors in high-traffic areas need strip and seal every 12 months. Residential floors generally last 2–3 years. Key signs it's time: yellowing or haze after mopping, peeling or flaking, or persistent dullness that mopping can't fix.

What is the difference between strip and seal and just resealing?

Re-sealing applies fresh sealer over the existing coat — only appropriate if the existing sealer is well-bonded and needs a top-up. Strip and seal completely removes the old coating first, giving the new sealer a clean, bare surface to bond to. Strip and seal is necessary when coatings are peeling, yellowing or have multiple old layers built up.

How long before I can use the floor after strip and seal?

Allow 4–6 hours before light foot traffic and 24 hours before moving furniture back. For commercial floors, we schedule after-hours or weekend work so your business operates normally the next morning.
