Also the shower leaked every time we used it. I contacted Ryan and he was professional, on time and delivered a high quality or work. Even coming back the next week to fix an unexpected issue (big gaps between the floor and wall). The before and after pics show the difference. We are very happy so far.

It had etch marks and had been epoxy impacted in its early life. He took extra care to remove epoxy layer and then bring life back to the marble. After having bluestone crazy paving laid, I had a nightmare experience with a previous tradesman who applied a dark-tinted sealer and then unsuccessfully tried to grind it out. The stone looked ruined.
I called Ausfloor Care, and Indie was fantastic. He explained exactly what needed to happen to fix the damage. He managed to restore the bluestone to its beautiful natural color and applied a natural-look sealer that truly highlights the stone. We absolutely love the finished result. If it wasn’t for Indie and his team, I would have given up and tiled over the entire area. Highly recommended!

Indie repaired the cracks in our terrazzo kitchen floor and has honed and polished it to a beautiful finish.
The team were extremely professional, polite and friendly and went above and beyond with helping move furniture. They arrived on time and worked so hard to finish the job on time. How often does natural stone need to be resealed?

Resealing frequency varies by stone type and exposure. As a guide: marble and limestone benchtops every 1–3 years; marble and granite floors every 3–5 years; outdoor sandstone, limestone and bluestone paving annually; granite benchtops every 5–10 years. We perform a water-bead absorption test to determine exactly when your stone needs resealing.

Will sealing change the appearance of my stone?

Our standard penetrating sealers are completely invisible — no change to colour, sheen or texture. If you want to deepen or enrich the natural colour (particularly popular for bluestone, sandstone and slate), we offer colour-enhancing penetrating sealers that intensify the stone's natural tones while providing full protection.

How long does sealing take and when can I use the stone again?

Most residential stone sealing takes 1–3 hours. After application, stone needs 2–4 hours cure time before light use, and 24 hours for full cure and normal use. We schedule work to minimise disruption to your household or business.

Can I seal stone myself?

DIY sealers exist, but professional application delivers significantly better protection. We use commercial-grade sealers with higher solids content that bond deeper into the stone. Incorrect DIY application — particularly over-application — leaves a visible white residue on stone that requires professional removal.
