Stone grinding requires the area to be completely cleared. We use wet grinding and dust extraction to minimise mess. Some slurry is produced which we clean as we work. Most residential stone grinding is completed in 1–2 days.
We remove only the minimum necessary — typically 1–3mm depending on damage depth. Our precision equipment controls grinding depth carefully. We never remove more material than required.
Yes — grinding always leaves a scratched surface that must be refined through progressive honing and polishing. We never leave stone at the grinding stage. After grinding, we work through finer honing grits and finish with polishing to achieve your desired level of shine or matte finish.
